I've been spending a lot of time at our restaurant Phil's Sliders this summer and it's been a great experience. Nancy our Director of Operations, Tom our Bookkeeper and I have been working with our wonderful staff at Phil's to improve our systems and service to help make the restaurant run more efficiently. The past couple of months have been challenging but with some bright new faces and some shiny new systems we are better than ever and ready to serve you! There is something incredibly satisfying about fixing a system or problem that was tough to handle, and one of the rewards is finally figuring it out. :) I feel like Phil's Sliders has improved a lot this year, and if you haven't been in for a while, I hope you'll come check it out and notice the improvements. :)

Nicky Ladner

Operations Coordinator

The HGC and Greenleaf Platters team gladly welcomes Nicky Ladner as our Operations Coordinator. Nicky comes to us originally from Chicago but has been an event coordinator in the Bay Area for the past 2 years. She will be working intimately with both Greenleaf Platters and Hugh Groman Catering. She will also be expanding our floral department as she was a florists for many years before joining us and flowers are still one of her biggest passions. Along with planning parties she loves riding her bike, hiking this beautiful coast, and spending quality time with friends and family.

We love Nicky for her great energy, intelligence, sense of fun and positive attitude, and we know you'll love working with her too!

Phil's Sliders

Phil's Sliders is our restaurant located at 2024 Shattuck Ave. in Berkeley. Our simple menu includes yummy sliders made from Sun Fed Farms grass-fed beef, fried chicken sliders, vegetarian sliders, crisp potato tots, sweet potato fries, fresh organic cole slaw, salads, milkshakes made with organic milk, and a variety of unique sodas. We also have beer, wine and Sangria!
