Revelations and Guides
by John Cappello
The term "revelation" means that a truth has been revealed through a "deity" or a supernatural entity. It is normally associated with a religious or a theological event but it is common for people to say they have been contacted by entities around them who help them gain insight into a situation in life. The information received by us through loved ones in spirit, angels, guides and even extraterrestrials are not necessarily religious but they can be life changing and is an indication we are loved by those in spirit around us. These insights do not diminish those received by us from God, who allows all of them, but indicates there are others who watch out for us from the spirit world. Sometimes revelations can come through a "sign" resulting in a change of behavior. Religious and theological traditions often depict moments of revelation in various people's lives where they had a moment of truth or vision induced by an entity causing them to have a reversal in their way of thinking. It is through revelation that many have had a conversion moment. A sudden change of "point of view" has motivated many people throughout history to make significant changes in their actions. When it occurs with our leaders it can result in movement in our civilization. These moments of change are uniquely psychic and need to be recognized in that context. They are psychic because they relate to "capturing information from beyond the limitations of our physical senses." Receiving information from those in another dimension fit within this definition. Many people may not reveal they have an angel, guide or another entity around them who gives them guidance. It is not surprising, however; to learn some of our closest friends and relatives have communication with beings in another dimension. The relationship they have with this being may be very personal and private. Sharing it with others may not be a need or could be a source of potential embarrassment. We are generally taught that this type of relationship is evil or inappropriate but this is not the situation in the vast majority of cases. Angels, guides and loved ones come to us from spirit to give us support in our life. They are there to share their knowledge with us if we are open. Their presence is a sign of love and should be welcomed because there is no intent to do harm to us. They provide guidance, insight, and often channel information through us. We all have this type of support around us but our contacts in the spirit world may not reveal themselves unless there is a reason or purpose. Visitations from them can be very memorable. A psychic vision or visitation can come suddenly without warning while we are conscious or even in an unconscious state such as in a dream. We can receive a visit or message by an entity revealing insight while meditating or through prayer. Some people recalling a near death experience often mention they interacted with an angel or other entity. A "truth" from these types of events may occur to us about our life, family, social behavior, our professional career or society in general. These moments are from "beyond the physical" and allow us to grow personally and have a greater perspective in life. This aspect of psychic ability is not the most popular aspect of this uniquely human quality but it is very common. The next time you have a sudden experience causing you to "rethink" an issue you might attribute this new thought as coming from your friends from another dimension. Revelations come to us throughout our life but we may not understand or give credit from where they originate. We grow and mature from them. Recognizing them as psychic and a sign of love from those supporting us in spirit may be new but is a very important realization we should acknowledge. When you have your next inspiration in life and gain from it you should not be surprised. You just need to be thankful and say, "Somebody up there likes me!" |
