As of now a $100 late fee will be applied to all dues payments without exception...
NFCAR Office Closed On Monday, February 15th
The NFCAR office will be closed on Monday, February 15th in observance of President's Day. The office will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, February 16th.
Caravan Contact Information
Just a reminder - Caravans are not managed or operated by NFCAR - they are managed and/or operated by REALTORS�. Rules and regulations apply to each of the individual caravans. If you have any questions regarding the caravans, please call the contacts listed below.
Brookfield; Monday morning at 11:30 Newtown Savings Bank 99 Federal Road, Brookfield. Listings should be phoned or emailed to Tom Lutz prior Thursday at noon to be considered for the following Monday. The caravan listing reservations are based on a first come, first served basis. If there isn't a sufficient number of listings on the reservation sheet, the caravans will be postpones until they meet the minimum number.
Danbury; First & Third Wednesday morning, meet at Newtown Savings Bank 30 Main Street in Danbury at 9:00 a.m. Listings should be phoned or emailed to Tom Lutz by noon the Friday before to be eligible for consideration for the following next Wednesday.The caravan listing reservations are based on a first come, first served basis. If there isn't a sufficient number of listings on the reservation sheet, the caravans will be postpones until they meet the minimum number.

Pending Home Sales Tick Up in December Pending home sales were mostly unchanged in December, but inched forward slightly, fueled by a large increase in the Northeast that outpaced declines in the other three major regions, according to the National Association of Realtors�. Mortgage Rates Move Lower Than Expected
For the fifth consecutive week, mortgage rates trended down, surprising even forecasters. The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage is now at its lowest average since April 30, 2015. To read more, click here.
Home Sales Up 10.9% in December
In a press release to the media on Wednesday, Connecticut REALTORS� reported that single-family residential home sales in Connecticut increased 10.9 percent comparing December 2015 to December 2014. The median sales price of $242,000 represents a 1.2% decrease from $245,000 in that same time period. Median indicates that half the homes sold for more and half for less. Total units of homes sold were 2,850 in December 2015 and 2,571 in December 2014.
Townhouses and condominium sales in Connecticut decreased 7.9 percent comparing December 2015 to December 2014; with a median sales price of $146,700 representing a 6.2 percent decrease from $156,425 in that same time period in 2014. Total units sold were 606 in December 2015 and 658 in December 2014. To read the full release click here.
