Hello Friends of Parlando,
In addition to registration for the Fall 2014 semester being open, we wanted to update you on some exciting happenings for current and former Parlando students.
In early June, we presented our annual staged production:
Seussical, The Musical. On opening night, our cast received a personal email of encouragement from Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens,
authors/composers of the show. Mr. Flaherty is a college friend of Parlando Board Member, Dr. Andrew Cooperstock. Dr. Cooperstock arranged for this wonderful surprise.
In late June our
Matilda the Musical campers received a personal video from Betsy Struxness - a friend of Parlando Faculty Member, Kristel Jelinek Brown,
and a current member of the Broadway cast of Matilda. The video was shot from backstage of
Matilda the Musical on Broadway wishing our campers good luck during their performance.
And, this month, former Parlando student, Stevie B. Wolf launches a new
Full EP, The Mountain. Follow this link to see the music video for one of the album's songs,
