The 2013 Spring Semester is off to a great start - thank you for choosing Parlando for your musical needs!
If you have not already registered for the spring semester, please do so right away. Our instructors do not get paid for lessons until students have registered. You can register online or by contacting me directly.
We only have four (4) spots remaining in our
FREE "Piano Plus" class on Thursday, February 7th from 4:30 to 5:30. Piano Plus is a monthly group class for piano students looking to receive a more comprehensive piano education in a group setting. These classes are open to all registered Parlando piano students and the free class on 2/7 is open to any students who have not previously taken Piano Plus. Please contact our Education Director, Emily Book McGree, for more information (
emily@parlando.org ). Note that you must contact Emily ahead of time to reserve a spot and spots will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our
"Intro to Piano Level 1" class still has a few open spots left. This is a great way for students ages 7 and up to try piano before committing to private lessons. The class meets on Tuesdays from 4:45-5:45. For more information, please email

Renowned voice instructor, Ann Evans Zavada will be working with Parlando voice students on Thursday, February 7th from 6:30-8pm in our Large Rehearsal Room. Ms. Zavada's students have been seen in numerous Broadway productions including Spring Awakening, Wicked, All Shook Up, 42nd Street, The Pirate Queen, Aida, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Xanadu, White Christmas, American Idiot, Memphis, A Little Night Music and The Addams Family. Her students have also performed in National Tours of Next to Normal, Annie, Cats, The King & I, My Fair Lady, Mamma Mia, Wicked and Jersey Boys. We are excited to have her working with some of our students as well! If you'd like to come and observe and, if time allows, ask questions, please feel free!
Our Spring 2013 Calendar has been updated to include all of our recitals. Beginning in February, there will be at least one recital each month through May. If you are interested in signing up for a recital, please contact your instructor. Dates and times are available here:

Please remember that we will be closed on Monday, February 18th for President's Day. Please confirm with your instructor whether or not regularly scheduled lessons will be happening or not.
