Hello Friends of Parlando,   

 

We have reached the midpoint of our Fall 2012 Semester!  Here are some announcements and reminders about the remainder of our semester:

 

 

Student Safety
The safety of your children when they are with us remains our top priority.  Consistent with our ongoing policy, ALL students under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult to and from lessons and classes unless you have provided permission IN WRITING (preferably email) to your student's instructor(s) for alternate arrangements.  We understand that this can be a cumbersome process, however, the safety of our students is something that we take very seriously.  If you have already provided written permission for your child to go to/from lessons and classes without your presence this semester then there is no need to do anything else.  However, if you have not done this or your written permission is from a previous semester, please take a few minutes and send a fresh email.  Thank you for your understanding and support of this important safeguard. 

Halloween Schedule
Please remember that we do not have any group classes scheduled for Wednesday, October 31.  This is a scheduled "cancellation" of classes and was factored into tuition at the beginning of the semester.  Private lessons should continue as regularly scheduled UNLESS you make prior arrangements with your instructor(s).

Inclement Weather
Parlando follows BVSD with regard to all weather-related cancellations.  If they are open, so are we.  If they are closed, we are as well.  You can get up-to-the-minute updates on the BVSD closures status at bvsd.org.

Spring Registration
Registration for our Spring 2013 Semester will be open on Monday, November 5th.  Our "Early Bird" Discount will apply to all registrations that occur on or before Friday, November 30th.  Note that applications for Tuition Assistance for the Spring 2013 Semester must be received by Friday, November 2nd.
