A part from God, and nothing holds any lasting meaning to it. Too many times we are in search of the meaning of life, but sadly all in the wrong places. God holds the keys to real living, and few find it. Never is it because God makes it hard to find, but rather its because we are stubborn to want life on our terms.
This constant battle is a threat to your soundness of mind. Therefore, evicting the selfish spirit in favor of the giving Spirit is where it all begins. Argue against this and you can be sure that you will be granted your wishes of a self-centered life. This unfortunately, is not truly living but dying a slow, lonely and painful death. Nothing good will ever come out of it. Be ready to evict any selfish tendencies, they are home-wreckers." ~Dad~ |
