"Good morning! Did you know getting directions is only the beginning of going somewhere you have never been? This is because to get to the place you're going you will need to follow those directions and that's not always easy to do. Why? Because the road of life has unsuspecting construction that forces a detour off the beaten path into the unknown.
These places can be very stressful as you try to regroup with an adjustment in your directions you first received. About the time you think you have it figured out you come upon a road that has been closed off from all thru traffic in that direction. What do I do now becomes the inward question. Life unfolds just like this, and no one fully knows exactly how it will all turn out.
We need to realize that getting somewhere in life is a step by step series of choices and hopefully you will make those choices by faith in God's will for your life. Remember its impossible to please God without faith. Therefore, the blueprint for your life is never in your possession, only knowing that God has one is all you get.
This means our choices will be made either by the things we can see or by those we can't even though the Word of God says they are there. Remember a believer in Christ walks by faith, not by sight. Understand who God is and wills by reading His Word, and then you can have confidence in making those choices that can't be physically seen at present." ~Dad~ |
