Daily Words From Dad

"Good morning! Did you know that you were created to reign? This means in everything! God's kids are not to ever be the tail in anything. It's His desire to give us the kingdom, so we need to start learning how to rule and reign instead of beg and borrow. Too much of the body of Christ live beneath their privileges and thereby live unhappy and give no reason for the unbeliever to want to be a child of God. Think about it, if there is no difference from what the world has and the believer, and worse, the world has more going on for them than the believer, why would he ever want to be a Christian?

The Bible validates this clearly without any reservations, accept of course, you settle for it by making ignorant decisions in life without God's counsel on the matter. The Bible tells us: We are to be the head and not the tail. We are to be the lender and not the borrower. We shall be blessed going out and in coming in; whatever our hands touch they shall prosper. Our fields shall be fruitful and the nations will know that we are blessed of the Father. The Word of God makes one wise if they will choose to live by it. This does not mean because you go to church necessarily. I have witnessed many church-goers live without any evidence that they are blessed; in fact, many to which I am referring to generally live from crisis to crisis. How can this be if Christ did so much for us?

I'm not sure who coined this phrase but its a good one: If one wants to get out and stay out of debt he should act his wage. I will add this, if one claims to be a child of God then they should step up and reign upon God's intended royal stage. Our life that sinks beneath where it should be according to God's Word is because we don't really govern our lives from it. We just talk in regards to it, but don't follow our own advice to which we say we understand. Poverty is the byproduct of our pursuing this thing called debt, and debt is the preferred way for most people because its made readily available by the rich who become that way off the backs of the borrower; this availability meets our wantonness to what we deem we have to have right NOW! So we sign the contract that enslaves us.

The Bible tells us it would be better to have little and your life, then abundance at the expense of your life. George D. Prentice has some good advice for us that says it right: Some people use one half of their ingenuity to get into debt, and the other half to avoid paying it. This has got to be the most hectic way for a person to live their life. Always hiding the stuff from the repo guy to keep what they can't afford while cursing the repo guy for being so heartless to even think about taking from you what belongs to him simply because you don't want to pay for it, but some how think its yours. That's just plain stupid! One thing I have learned and George Bernard Shaw says it most appropriately: The government who robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul. In other words, you can always count on the takers to show up for the handouts that cost them nothing.

As believers in Jesus Christ we are called to rule and reign over the treasures of this world but somehow we have surrendered it all once again just as Adam did to the spirit of anti-christ because we eat the apple of debt being offered to us as a way to quickly get what we can't wait for. If you have this out of control appetite for getting stuff at the drop of the hat with someone else's money, then right here we have detected a problem contributing to your poverty and frustration with life. Learn to be content with what you have and what you can afford in full payment. This has proven to be the way to wealth and the evidences are uncontested because of their undeniable proof. God's provision is without the sweat of your brow and the toiling of your scheming hands. That is the earth cursed system, not the way of the kingdom of God.

Lust of the flesh however, and the pride of life are the things that become a detriment to our lives and ruthlessly throws us to the ground and turns us into slaves. Too many place their status in life by their possessions, but real value is in having peace and joy as wealth shows up without a contract. Remember we were created to rule and reign, not beg and borrow. If you are always entangled with the latter, this is why poverty hangs around your house as your guest. End the debt cycle by obtaining only the things that you can purchase in full payment; it is here that you will never have to worry about the repo guy, he has no right to what legally belongs to you. God wants us to rule and reign over the riches of this world, we just have to mature so that He can place it in our lives." ~Dad~
