"Good morning! Waking up is a good sign that God has something special for you to do today. Remember that God has made everything with purpose in the ebbs and flow of life and He does this throughout all His creation. Therefore, because you are a part of the new day, God intends for you to flow as you go, impacting everyone you meet with the gifts that He has placed within you.
Don't say to yourself, I have no gifts! That is far from the truth. You just haven't stopped to really look at what's there. You have allowed this world to jam up your river of influence with unnecessary stuff. Distractions are like beavers that cut down everything in your life that was meant to beautify it; and while you are tending to such fallen stuff that has now been wasted, they dam up your river with those same things that were intended to bless you and now bring your river to just a trickle.
Life without flow becomes a stagnant pool of stench and eventually develops parasites that depletes ones entire life. This is not to say that your river of life within you will not carry you through some life challenges. No! ...these will come from time to time, but if your river is robust and flowing freely, you will blow right through these effortlessly no matter their grade of difficulty.
How do I keep my river flowing you ask? Realize that difficulties are part of life, but not all of life. Some people concentrate so much on their difficulties that they start piling up, and before they know it, their river of life has been completely dammed up. Life was never meant to live at just a trickle as so many live it. My advice, recall that God has given you another special day, therefore flow in it with purpose and meaning within every moment of it.
When you do this, your flow of life will be so powerful that it will push through the lying debris of fallen timber clearing the way for REAL LIVING. Have you got it? Ok then, now lets go live it as if it were a torrential down pour and produce a massive flow through your river of life!" ~Dad~ |
