Daily Words From Dad

"Good morning! We haven't any time to waste simply because this day will come and go before you know it. So, we need to stay focused on the purposes and plans that God has set before us, and live them to the fullest. There is an old Japanese proverb, when you're dying of thirst it's too late to think about digging a well. Therefore, how you plan is very important, just as working the plan is vital to reaching your goals. Tumbleweed living has you going everywhere but where you should be.

No one has ever been lost who travels a straight road. Therefore, a good plan today that you implement is much better than a perfect plan that you may put together tomorrow but never get around to working it. You become successful not by chance, but by deliberate preparation. Basil S. Walsh wrote, An intelligent plan is the first step to success. The man who plans knows where he is going, knows what progress he is making and has a pretty good idea when he will arrive.

Planning is of the upmost important work you will ever do, and just as equally important is to follow it with your all. I like the words of William A. Ward, Before you speak, listen. Before you write, think. Before you spend, earn. Before you invest, investigate. Before you criticize, wait. Before you pray, forgive. Before you quit, try. Before you retire, save. Before you die, give. This kind of reflection ensures the best possible outcome for you life. Don't live life carelessly, its too important to not live with purpose!" ~Dad~
