"Good morning! Did you know that people get up out of bed every day, but never get up inside? Think about it, we retire each evening as a way of letting our physical body recuperate and revive itself so as to have the health for our new day. But unfortunately, when people don't turn off from dwelling upon some incident, problem, worry, heartache of what happened yesterday, they ultimately will enter their new day sluggish and without any desire to live expressively. Awaken, but not awake inside.
The physical body needs a good night of rest, and so does your mind. You can't get this needed rest for your mind if you are constantly replaying what's already happened, and worse, worrying about things that may or might not happen tomorrow. Somebody said, don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. We must remember that our minds grow in the very things it feeds on. If its always devouring late night snacks on junk food, you can expect to be sleep walking tomorrow and the results will be devastating." ~Dad~
I walked by the field of a lazy person, the vineyard of one with no common sense. I saw that it was overgrown with nettles. It was covered with weeds, and its walls were broken down. Then, as I looked and thought about it, I learned this lesson: A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.
