Daily Words From Dad

"Good morning! A fresh new day is before us and it holds a great deal of promise in it. Why do I say this? Because the Creator has purposely written within His book of promises that He unequivocally loads us daily with benefits (Psalm 68:19), this is written down to encourage us so we would begin each day with this expectancy in mind.

They say what's out of sight is generally absent from the mind. I believe this is true, because what we don't see in light of possibilities and God's promises, we rarely expect those things to happen. They are not in our radar for things to be in our life.

A life without an expectancy of good things is usually a life that majors in the mundane or negative vibrations of life. People are more attune with failure, bad, sickness, death, mistakes, broken, sadness, hurt, evil, just to name a few perspectives of what folks will focus upon in this world.

Our eyes have been trained to spot the worse in everything though good things may be staring us right in the face. It's why so many may have something good in life that would make someone else very grateful, but when we have it, we tend to take it for granted because of what we have our sites on beyond us.

We are always wanting, whereas what we HAVE seems unimportant or without value in light of wanting something that we don't have...at least we feel this way until what we had is gone, then its here that we realize how valuable those things were. Too many are scurrying around in life clawing for something else instead of enjoying what they possess.

Be thankful with what you have, and develop a new outlook on life that holds an expectancy for good things, practicing seeing them each day...because truth is, God has loaded the supply truck for delivery to your address. The only criteria, you have to be home to sign for it." ~Dad~

Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. (1 Timothy 6:6-9 NLT)
