"Good morning! I was just giving thanks to God for His bountiful blessings over my life and you were one of the dearest thoughts within that thankfulness today. I have learned the importance of staying the mind upon those things in life that makes one happy. God is my most greatest joy of all as He embodies the whole of endless love; for it is He that placed you in my life as a true gift that brings me enormous joy within my heart. You make me happy!
Happiness is found only when we unwrap the true gifts that God has placed around us for our joy to be made full. For example: some find happiness in their daily work that makes them feel important as they spend their whole life trying to increase that self-fulfillment of personal euphoria that many would call success. Whereas, the real happiness in that work should be the enablement it provides to be a blessing to their family and to others. Happiness is not in the work, but in the harvest from that work that one can share with someone.
Happiness is not an introverted blessing from God, but is rather derived from sharing and giving so that others may experience one of God's many strategically placed gifts in their life. Happiness is never true happiness when it's all about you. Anything that abides alone is not true happiness, that is more precisely called selfishness. Yet, I will admit there are a great deal of people who are selfishly happy. But nevertheless, it's a happiness that abides alone, and soon enough the loneliness produced by the selfishness will prove to be an unbearable dose of unhappiness." ~Dad~ |
