"Good morning! Did you know that what you put your hands to do in life, that it always produces more of the same? For instance, you can sit on the couch bored and flip through the channels of your TV looking for something that interests you, while the hours just pass by and you still be at the same place later on that day, only you would have multiplied hours of the same...wasted time!
Too many fail to see this reciprocity within the things we apply our hands to. They just think its supposed to work out favorably without them making the required investment to get a good return in life. Laziness just produces more of the same, and always brings the same reward, nothing! And with multiplied days of it which makes the recipient miserable. The Bible teaches that whatever we put our hands to, to do it as unto The Lord. Why?
Because when we do things with God in mind they will have a divine virtue and purpose to them. This simply means, the emphasis will be on spiritual matters rather than on me-(ism). God's purposes will be our focus, and when we invest in His kingdom there is a multiplication that far surpasses anything imaginable that you could apply your hands to for selfish reasons. Always remember God's purposes are full of charitableness and when we invest with that kind of heart, we will increase in every good thing." ~Dad~ |
