"Good morning! How is your heart today? Is it sunny side up and oozing with good thoughts or has life made it hard boiled? The Bible tells us to guard our heart above all else because the issues of life flow out of it. So, let me ask you again,
'How's your heart?'
If you fail to acknowledge the importance of this process, your heart is bound to produce some very difficult consequences in response to life that will start the hardening of the heart. Guard your heart! Consider intently everything that wants to come in to your heart; and watch carefully what you let out of it, this is how life happens.
There are important things to know in life in order to govern your life. For example, never spit into the wind. Or have you ever thought about this, you train people on how to treat you by how you treat yourself. These and things like them have their own set of consequences you may not enjoy.
This is why you must make up your mind to use it (the mind) skillfully, otherwise, life has a way of overcooking the heart, and I've witnessed too many people in my days with very hard hearts." ~Dad~ |
