"Good morning! Did you know everything that has life, is changing outwardly? In other words, every species of life form that comes into the world is changing with each year it is alive. There is an expiration date for everything, including your life; don't waste it chasing worthless pursuances that have no real value in the long run while keeping the real important stuff in the imaginary realm of your thoughts to which you only consider when it crosses your mind that you aren't doing much with your life. Dreams have to be deliberately pursued with intention and not just changing the view. Just because you can make things seem different around you doesn't mean anything's actually changed.
Though I might travel afar geographically, I will meet only what I carry within me, for every person is a mirror of them self. We see only ourselves reflected in those around us. Their attitudes and actions are only a reflection of our own. The whole world and its condition has its counter parts within us all. Turn the gaze inward. Correct yourself and your world will change. -Kirsten Zambucka.
To change and change for the better, are two very different things. Many folks just change or rearrange some outward things to give the semblance that they have changed, and they do this for the sake of feeling like they have, yet nothing has really changed. But I want you to consider something here with me, who we are according to God's intended purposes never changes, its just lying dormant within waiting for us to show up. On the other hand, who 'WE' think we are is always willing to change to meet the expectations of those we want to fit in with. This becomes the problem for any of us, getting the truth about who we are and being comfortable to develop it instead of trying to be what our peers would want us to be like. Which is to be like them, who are trying to be like someone else who wants them to be like them, and so goes the vicious cycle. Would the real you please stand up!
When it becomes more difficult to suffer than change...then it is here that you will be willing to make the necessary changes to become you. Nobody told me how difficult and lonely change would be due to my hidden identity buried under the layers of falsehood that I had been practicing, in fact, change hurts at first, but I assure you it will be worth discovering who you were meant to be. At first it will make you feel insecure, even confused, and at times angry as you wrestle the 'false you,' whom you have have spent more time getting to know as you. We always want things to be the same as they've always been, because that makes life easier. It is here that everything has already been compartmentalized under your delusional management of what actually can't be managed because its not real. You just think you can. But, if you're to grow up into the person God has called you to be, you can't let yourself hang on to these past perspectives of who you are.
By the time you're eighty years old you will have pretty much learned everything. The only problem then, you have to remember it. -George Burns. That becomes the hard part, remembering all the many roles that you played in life that were not really you. The thing is, when you are true to yourself, you don't have to labor anymore to remember who you are. Every self-serving person in society is always promoting what it deems as popular, exciting, beautiful, vogue, sexy, etc. Yet have you noticed how these fads are always changing because people are so restless and think changing outwardly will make them feel better about them self. This is not the truth, just watch, they will change again and again but not what really matters, them!
Because of these worldly attributes, everyone is trying to stay up with what is popular so that they will be accepted by the masses and thus fit in and be accepted. No one cares to be who they were meant to be, simply because the world says that would be boring and much to plain. Therefore, many will continue to live in denial to who they were created to be, and the only change, is to get further away from the genuine person they are, to become this fake person that will never bring them rest. No wonder the people of this civilized world are so discontent with life and always in search of finding what will make them happy outwardly, instead of realizing happiness is being true to you, the person God created you to be. Don't let the world define you...it won't be you! And it will always demand you to play a new role to keep them entertained when they grow bored with the other. This is much too hectic to live in such a manner as this. Be true to the person God says you are, you will enjoy it so much more." ~Dad~ |
