"Good morning! I hope you got your needed rest, you're going to need it to stay up with what God has reserved for you today; and it is nothing that you will regret I promise, unless of course you neglect what He has reserved for you by re-examining the disappointments of yesterday or those in opposition to it. I have personally learned to wake up from my yesterday, expecting a totally new day. A new day can't be like yesterday, unless you intend to replay the same ole stuff from yesterday in your new day. This process won't allow you to get too excited about the prospects of your new day because you will see it as just being like it was yesterday. This is a defeating practice of your mental capacities when you use them in this manner. It's like sitting on a see-saw, never going anywhere except up and down.
If you are always expecting the worst in life, you will never be disappointed. You can't afford to live from a position of how everything and everyone is always against you. It will sour your disposition, and it won't take long for it to start showing up in your responses. Everything is reciprocal in life; sowing and reaping is a universal law that God put in the world. Therefore, you have to expect that if you cuss out the world, the world is definitely going to cuss you back. You are here to bring about solutions to problems, not add more of them. Your conversion to Christ is a new YOU! Therefore, you are here to bring life to what is near to death. You are an agent of good in a world that serves up so much bad. The new day you have received brings new assignments for carrying out the 'will' of God on the earth. Did you get your instructions for the day?
Don't be like so many who lose sight of their important assignment of life only to join the complainers. These folks will never do anything that anyone will ever remember. Hear what the Bible says about a man who was focused on his assignment: I am doing a great work and I cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and come down to you? When someone tells me there is only one way to do things or it can't be done and they just sit around complaining about everything, it always lights a fire under my butt. My instant reaction is, "I'm going to prove you wrong!" Listen, there are professional 'constipators' by the thousands out there, always clogging up things and producing a great deal of pain that hits you in your gut. You're going to need a good laxative to proceed forward, that of course is knowing your assignment for life and letting no one to get in your way." ~Dad~ |
