This is it! Mayoral Election Tomorrow!
 The Gainesville Mayoral Election is finally upon us! Polls are open, in Gainesville, tomorrow from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. If you don't know where your polling place is, call the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections at 352-374-5252.
This is an important election. On the one side you have an uber-liberal in Mayor Craig Lowe. Craig has been responsible for driving up the cost of electric rates and setting a rate structure that discriminates against families. He has disrespected and ignored citizens that want to give their opinion to the City Commission and has been ugly and condescending to other commissioners.
On the other hand, you have Ed Braddy, a common sense conservative with an agenda to put the people first and to make sure that city government is responsive and courteous.

If you are eligible to vote and haven't voted, then please do so. If you know somebody that hasn't, please give them a call and make sure they remember to vote. The election is tomorrow, April 16th! Please vote!

Next Republican Meeting
The next regular meeting of the Alachua County Republican Executive Committee is Thusday, April 25th at 7:00 P.M. The meetings are held at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge. That is at 3301 North Main Terrace in Gainesville.
If you are a member of the executive committee and can't attend, please be sure to send a request for excused absense to the excusal request email address. |
