When we first encountered Gerhard Schedl's String Trio almost ten years ago, we were immediately taken with his unique voice, depth of expression and intensity. We knew instantly that in Gerhard Schedl we had found a rare contemporary composer who was capable of translating his human experience into sound and making it accessible to audiences worldwide.
