Growth Beyond Classifieds
Dr. Marco Barth from ImmobilienScout session, Growth Beyond Classifieds will discuss  what is in store for the classifieds industry and what growth opportunities exist for the marketplace.
Over the last 15 years, online classifieds marketplaces have proven successful in digitalizing offline business models, bringing together advertisers and seekers of real estate, cars and many others products and services. Taking growth to the next level now requires online classifieds marketplaces to re-think themselves, to take digitalization beyond their core products in their domestic markets, and to develop new solutions to grow along the value chain and service all needs of their users. Building on lessons-learnt from ImmobilienScout24's track record in successfully growing businesses "all around real estate" such as mortgage, valuation or relocation services, this session will share insights into ImmobilienScout24's approach and vision for growth.

The applications were judged on novelty, creativity, results, sustainability and presentation by the ICMA Board Members. Due to the high quality of the applications received, it was decided there would be 8 applicants short-listed. The 8 short-listed applicants have been invited to present their innovation during the Innovation Session taking place on Saturday 20 April and the award winners will be announced during the ICMA Innovation Awards Gala Party on Saturday 20 April 2013 in Cologne, Germany.

Brauhaus Group Dinner
ICMA is known for throwing engaging social events  encouraging delegates to network, laugh, dance and be merry! The Thursday night group dinner will be no exception. We will be dining and drinking traditional Cologne food and Kölsch beer in the Brauhaus Gilden im Zims.
After being burned down by airstrikes in 1943, this 16th century building was completely restored to an official brewery of the famous Kölsch beer. Be sure to join us for this tasty meal in a historical, charming brewery.
