Qi Men Dun Jia
(Mystical Doors Escaping Technique)
Qi Men Dun Jia is an ancient form of divination from China. It is one of the Three Arts (三式sān shì). The other two arts are call Da Liu Ren and Tai Yi Shen Shu. It is used today because of its high level of accuracy in forecasting events.
QMDJ is based on the theories of Feng Shui, Date Selection, and Bazi. One does not need to be highly skilled in these areas to use QMDJ. In modern times, QMDJ can be applied to questions about, health, relationships, education, travel, or assessing land and property.
History of Qi Men Dun Jia
Its legendary origins date back as far as 4,600 years ago when the Yellow Emperor (黃帝) - 2697 BC to 2597 BC) was fighting a war against Chi-You (蚩尤) who had the capability to summon the wind and rain. During the battle, the Yellow Emperor knew he did not have the capability to defeat him.
In desperation, Goddess of the Nine Heaven (九天玄女) sent him a Heavenly Book - Long Jia Shen Zhang (龙甲神章). He used the military techniques written in this book to win the war against the rebel, Chi -You.
Zhuge Liang (181 BC-234 BC) was considered the most accomplished strategist during his time. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a popular Chinese Classical novel. Zhuge Liang's character has a prominent role in the book, as does Liu Bei and his adversary, Cao Cao.
He used Qi Men techniques to defeat Cao Cao, a Northern warlord. He is most noted for borrowing the east wind. Zhegue Liang used this wind in a military strategy to set fire to Cao Cao's fleet of navy ships.
In the novel, Zhuge Liang is portrayed as accomplishing exceptionally clever stratagems to stymie or defeat his adversaries. He knew the way of Heaven and Earth, it was also written that he also had magical powers.
Mao Zedong (1893-1976), was chairman of the Communist Party of China. The soundness of Mao's self-reliance and rural guerrilla strategies was proved by the Chinese Communist Party's rapid growth from 1937-1945. Membership rose from 40,000 to 1,200,000 in 1945.
The truce between the Communists and Nationalists was broken at the end of World War II. Then civil war erupted; the years 1946-49 saw the rapid defeat of the Kuomintang and Chiang's government was forced to flee to Taiwan. Communists formed The People's Republic of China in late 1949. Mao Zedong knew how to tap into the techniques of Qi Men to dictate when to deploy his troops. He was able to defeat the Nationalist Party and led the People's Republic of China from its establishment and the ruling of the Chinese mainland until his death in 1976.
Throughout the history of China, QMDJ was only for the elite and select military officials to use in warfare. This was their secret weapon and privy only to the Emperor and his top advisors. QMDJ was a closely guarded secret because of its power and quick results if implemented correctly. Anyone else caught practicing it would face execution.
