Enrolling Partnership-owned Dams
Partnership-owned Dams do not print on the pre-printed Female Enrollment forms, nor are listed under the "My Pre-Post Inventory - 2016" listing for our Online participants.
Please remember to email the animal ID to the Registry staff prior to the December 15th deadline so the office can manually enroll the partnership-owned Dam(s) for you and they will be included in the first installment billing that will be generated on April 1, 2016.
Please contact the CSA office toll free @ 1-866-860-6051 or 403-250-7979 with any questions.

Random Parentage Verification of Simmental Animals
In accordance with CSA Bylaws, parentage verification of animals is required on a random basis.  Random requests are to be completed within six months of original request, at which time the animal in question will be put on hold and the member account suspended until parentage verification is complete.
If, for any reason, you are unable to submit the SNP sample (e.g. the dam is no longer in your herd), please contact the office as soon as possible so we may determine an alternate animal for parentage verification testing.
BREED IMPROVEMENT

Data is currently being processed for the North American Simmental Genetic Evaluation and the Spring 2016 run will be available in early January. We will notify you when the updated EPDs are available.

Cole was lured into beef 4-H when he was 11 years old by his best friend, and has never looked back. He purchased his first purebred Simmental heifer at age 14 and has been hooked on the breed ever since. Cole is the Vice-President of the Alberta YCSA board. In the summer of 2015, Cole organized an online auction in memory of a young boy involved in a farming accident. He raised over $5,000 to donate to S.T.A.R.S.
