Trinity Tuesday returns April 26
Join the discussion: Christianity, Racism and Racial Justice
The challenge of racism can overwhelm even the most devout Christian, yet we are urged by Biblical narrative to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. In our baptismal covenant we say, "With God's help we will strive for justice and peace among all people and respect the dignity of every human being." How are we to live into God's love for all people while the persistent problem of racism continues to plague people, institutions, and many aspects of our society and culture? A great way to explore answers to that question is to enter into conversation within the context of this community of faith. Our tradition of study, prayer, and discussion will guide us as we tackle complex issues.

Our next Trinity Tuesday session, led by Mother Carlye, is April 26 at 6:30 p.m. Due to the complex nature of the topic, participants will need to commit to attending a minimum of three sessions. (Unit continues on May 3, 10, 17, 24)

Participants are encouraged to begin one of these suggested books:
Please also watch the first video in the ChurchNext online class, "Racism and Racial Justice." Email trinity@fortworthtrinity.org and request log-in instructions.

Trinity Happenings
Ascension Day is Thursday, May 5. Join us for worship in the garden at 7 p. m.

Your dedications and donations for altar flowers are needed! Sponsoring the altar flowers is a beautiful way to honor loved ones. The suggested donation for altar flowers for a specific Sunday is $60 per family/individual. More than one family can sign up for each Sunday. You may sponsor more than one Sunday. These honorariums, remembrances and thanksgivings are acknowledged in the Sunday bulletin. Our expectation is that your payment will be made by the Monday prior to your Sunday dedication. All donations are tax-deductible. Click here to complete an online donation and dedication form
