Dear Friends,
I don't know about you, but my life is very full right now. New things I've just started, others that remain constant and steady, and some things that have come to an end. I'd love to know the outcome and future of everything but that's just not possible. It's like the last day of our lives. If we knew when that was, it would eliminate the mystery. By not knowing, we are forced to attempt to live both fully in the present moment and also create the future that we long for.
Nature knows. If we give ourselves the opportunity, we can learn an amazing lesson just by witnessing it's rhythm. Nature doesn't obsess, or analyze, or push too hard. Nature moves in a divine rhythm. The seasons change exactly as they should, sometimes early, sometimes late, but always right on time.
The Yoga Practice is an invitation to align ourselves with this same current. By grounding ourselves in the present moment AND setting our compass in the direction of our hearts and our passion, we can release the need to hold on so tight trying to control our lives and let go and allow ourselves to be carried by this current of Grace, the same Spanda or pulse that nature is attuned to.
Go outside.
Put your feet on the earth.
Bathe in nature's vast wisdom that is abundant and never absent.
The cliche expression "Patience is a Virtue" contains a deep truth which reminds us that when we're willing to take a breath, pause, and allow ourselves to be infused by nature's gifts, we can trust in the natural flow of life and ride on the winds of grace which carry us willingly right to where we're supposed to be at exactly the right time.
