Dear Friends,
I'm watching an exquisite sunrise this morning, we touch the Half Moon tonight, and The WORLD WILL END tomorrow Friday, December 21st on the Winter Solstice, the longest & darkest night of the year.
The World Will End~ as we know it.
Which means, you get to create the New World.
What will this New World look like?
What qualities in Yourself do you want to bring forth?
What would you most like to Accomplish in this New World?
Now is the time to reflect back on this past year, look at all the good things that have happened to you, what you've accomplished, what you've created and what you've been able to let go of in your life.
This is also a time to remember those things that you may not feel so good about; unkind things you've said, people you've forgotten to thank, times you haven't been honest, compassionate, kind, or forgiving.
You can't step consciously into the New Year, or the next chapter of your life unless you bring consciousness to this past year. Life moves so incredibly fast that much of it seems to disappear behind us. We forget what we've achieved, we forget the wonderful things that have happened to us, new friends, the people we've gotten closer to, and the ways we've connected more deeply to our highest Selves, our true essence.
Just as we lose sight of the positive moments, we often bury our discomfort about the difficult and challenging moments of the year. If we do remember them, we may judge and criticize ourselves, and beat ourselves up; or try to justify or blame someone else. Any of these choices simply lodges the discomfort further into your unconscious.
It's important to write all of these things down on a piece of paper. And then on New Year's Eve...
Burn it.
Let it go.
And Make Room.
Then, set a SANKALPA, an inspired intention. This is a Spiritual Resolution, one that comes with energy, willpower, inner wisdom and heart.
It begins with Love.
It begins with remembering your divinity. That the whole Universe is contained in you. That divinity lives in You, as You.
A Sankalpa is a commitment in support of the deepest meaning of your life. And your actions to achieve this goal are consistent with your innermost desires to stay connected both to your highest Self & to your calling, your Dharma. (Read "The Great Work of Your Life" Stephen Cope.)
Everything you do, every choice you make, every path you walk down can be in alignment with this resolution.
So before this world ends, Reflect & Remember. Then let this world go. And make room for the New World That Awaits You.
For a Joyful and Peace Filled New World & New Year
My Love to You and Your Loved Ones,
Ben
