95 School Districts Updated Tobacco Policy-Checklist Available
from Brenda Jennings, DPI Consultant

We have compiled a checklist for schools to use when reviewing current tobacco policy in regards to other tobacco products and e-cigarettes.  You can use the E-cigarette sample school policy language from the Public Health Law Center available on DPI's Tobacco Prevention website along with the checklist.  We modeled the checklist with this model sample policy language document, so it would be easy to use.  We also have a list of schools that have updated their school policies on the DPI website located here Wisconsin School Districts that have updated their school tobacco policies.  Please let me know (brenda.jennings@dpi.wi.gov) if your school district has updated your tobacco policy and we can add it to our list.
