GOLD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
KAAZ LEXECO CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES SAINT JOHN HOSPTIAL

Kaaz Lexeco Construction Companies
Kaaz Lexeco Construction Companies are applying new technologies every day to make them more efficient, and to provide excellent customer service! They recently won the 2010 APWA Project of the Year Award for the work done at 20th Street and Metropolitan Avenue. Lately, they have implemented new technology to make tasks in the field, and in the office, easier and less time consuming! They are in the process of testing new technology that will eliminate paper timecards for every employee. Not only will this save paper, it will increase accuracy and efficiency. They are also making changes to become more "green". An example of this would be using used motor oil to heat asphalt that they manufacture. Kaaz Lexeco Construction Companies also re-use roofing shingles that contain oil that is needed for asphalt. In another effort to become green, they have opened a recycling site on South 2nd street were the public is able to dump and purchase certain materials, such as rock and dirt. Starting in late fall or early spring, they will begin accepting used shingles for recycling as well. This will not only save oil, it will reduce the amount of material placed in landfills. You can call the office at (913) 682-3584 to get more information and prices!
