New Database

The new UNCTAD database contains the text of over 2,000 Bilateral Investment Treaties (BITs) and 300 "other IIAs" dating from 1959 to present day, making it the world's most comprehensive collection of IIAs.

With this database, UNCTAD aims to create a one stop shop for information dissemination relating to IIAs, providing users and investment stakeholders with the latest trends in this rapidly evolving area.

The database can be accessed through the UNCTAD's Investment Policy Hub which offers investment policy makers, academia and other stakeholders a consolidated overview of investment matters ranging from national and international investment measures to cutting-edge UNCTAD publications and reports, news and discussions.
