HOS messageDear Parents,

As our students and faculty prepare to depart on a well-deserved break, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Safe travels to those who will be on the highways or airways this holiday season. I hope the break offers everyone the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of Christmas as well as offering time for relaxation with loved ones.

It has been a busy fall at All Saints as we plan for the future. In the new year, I look forward to communicating exciting new curricular offerings that will unfold in the years ahead. For those who would enjoy some light reading over the break, some interesting articles are below.

See you in the New Year!

Sincerely,

Randal sig

Relearning the Lost Skill of Patience  By Jessica Lahey, The Atlantic (from November 15, 2013)  This weekend, my son undertook his weekly backpack cleanout, dumping wadded papers, overdue permission slips, graded homework, and some ghastly lunch remnants on our living room floor. He handed me the pile of papers he thought I'd want to see, and there, in his wadded homework, my professional and personal life collided.
