
Bruce G. Brookshire Basketball Classic Continues
Today and tomorrow All Saints continues with hosting the annual Bruce G. Brookshire Basketball Classic. The Classic began on Thursday with eight girl teams and eight boy teams from some of the best schools in Texas. Both the Lady Trojans and our Varsity Trojan teams are still in the tournament. Come join us this weekend for some great basketball.

One Act Play Wins Third Place
The Upper School theater class participated in the TAPPS District One Act Play competition on Saturday, November 17. In addition to garnering 3rd place overall, several of our students won individual awards: Hannah Henderson and Zane Liston received Honorable Mention All Star Cast awards, while Lexie Rains and Billy Swartworth were named to the All Star Cast. Garrett Buatte also received an Outstanding Technician award for his work on lights.

The All Saints Fund Family Fest will be a fun afternoon and evening for all!
Divisions will have special celebrations including hay rides, bouncy houses, scavenger hunts, powder puff football game, a chili cook-off for the chefs in the crowd, and live music!

Four Choir Students Advancing to State Finals
The second round of auditions for the Texas All State Choir were held in Jacksonville yesterday. Nine members of Heart 2 Heart competed (those selected earlier for the All Region Choir in October). These students were required to learn four choral pieces - a contemporary piece in English, two Latin selections, and a German motet. Of the nine students, four were selected to advance to the state finals on January 12. Congratulations to freshman Brock Lutz, sophomores Callie Crozier and Noah Fanous, and junior Austin Martin. Congratulations also to sophomore Zane Liston who was chosen as an alternate.

AP Physics Class Visits SPEA
On Tuesday the AP Physics class went on a field trip to SPEA America. They did not go far since SPEA is right outside the All Saints gate. SPEA manufactures Automatic Test Equipment for semiconductors, electronic circuit boards, and modules. It is owned by alumnus Dillon Buhrkuhl's, class of 2009, Dad, David. The students were able to see what electiric engineers do.
