NEXT WEEK:

Tuesday, Sept. 25th - Business Development Strategies for Financial Planners Workshop

 8:30am - 10:00am

Canyon Grill Restaurant
3799 E. Hwy. 290, Dripping Springs

You work hard. You provide great service and products, and sometimes even cash. You help people and companies grow, mitigate risk, provide for their family and employees, and plan for the future. You develop relationships and centers of influence. And you are ready to get to the next level. In this 90 minute workshop designed specifically for bankers, financial planners, wealth managers, insurance agents and brokers, and CPAs, we will discuss how to:

 Spend less time with low-yield clients and more time with high-yield clients

 Cross-sell, up-sell and re-sell your existing clients on products you can see would benefit them

 Shorten your selling cycle so you're doing more business in less time with less effort

 Avoid doing too much unpaid consulting and too much educating that only benefits your competition

 Ask a potential client (especially a friend or colleague) for a commitment

 Overcome discomfort discussing money issues

 Sell yourself and your ideas

 Understand why people buy, and how to qualify or disqualify prospective clients quickly.

 Generate more referrals, more consistently

You need to be effective at prospecting, qualifying, closing and cultivating long-term relationships with prospects and Centers-of-Influence so the full, lifetime value of their future business and referrals can be converted into the production your vision requires and you deserve.

DS EDUCATION FOUNDATION

How many times have you heard people say they moved to Dripping Springs because of the outstanding reputation of our Schools?

Fortunately, DSISD ranks as one of the top districts in the nation and it has been recently proven that our students are better equipped for post-secondary education than most others.  The sad news is that we are also considered a "property rich" district and about $3 million of our tax dollars leave the district every year resulting in deeper budget cuts.  If you are concerned and would like to be involved, please consider volunteering at one or more of the Dripping Springs Education Foundation events.  The mission of the DSEF is to financially support the district allowing them to concentrate less on money and more on providing quality education.

Some events planned for this year are a golf tournament, a casino night gala, and a 5K & 10K run.  The DSEF Board will handle the planning, all you need to do is lend a hand at the event.  Who knows; the money you help raise may save a salary, continue a program, or provide a grant to a teacher to create new and innovative programs!
