Sponsorships Sought for Dripping with Taste 2012

The   Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau  is pleased to present the 5th Annual  Dripping with Taste Wine & Food Festival on Saturday, September 8, 2012, on the grounds of the breathtaking Texas Hill Country Olive Company Tasting Room and Orchard in Dripping Springs.With this event's appeal for foodies, wine aficionados, and live music fans - all set in the ambience of the Central Texas Hill Country - we anticipate this to be the biggest year ever for DWT!" The 2012 Dripping with Taste Wine & Food Festival will be highly publicized across multiple media channels throughout the Texas Triangle area (Austin, Houston, Dallas).  Our visitors will come from across Central Texas and beyond.

Welcome Bags Update
Thank you to those businesses who donated items for the Welcome Bags.  The bags will be distributed this week to the local title companies and the schools.

DS Rotary Names New Officers

June 26, 2012......Dripping Springs, Texas. Not many folks would volunteer for the tasks at hand but a whole slew of Rotarians stepped up to the plate to serve our community and make a difference.

 

Rotarian Assistant District Governor, Ross Bigelow, was present to honor the new members and was delighted with the achievements from the last term and is looking forward to great things accomplished for the upcoming year, he said.

Fallen Patriot Volunteer Program by Carved Creations

It's that time of the year, to get the word out for our annual effort to honor those that have lost a family member in the Iraq or Afghanistan conflicts.  We are asking the members of our community (ages 16 and up) to unite with us in honoring these great Americans by joining our FallenPatriot™ Volunteer Program.  We will be creating 3 to 4 hour shifts, available from June 26th through August.  You will be provided with training and all the soft drinks you can consume! Dripping Springs ISD Opens Marketing Opportunities to Businesses
A new opportunity is available in Dripping Springs ISD! The district is venturing down a new path to help create additional funding to support our mission of "inspiring and equipping students to be lifelong learners and positive contributors to the world." Plans are underway to open up some new business partnerships through various sponsorship/advertising opportunities.  

  

We are announcing six options: five of which target parents and community, and one that directly reaches approximately 600 district employees. 290 Commercial Exchange 

 

Please join your fellow commercial real estate professionals and colleagues on Thursday, July 12 at 8:30 am for the first meeting of the 290 Commercial Exchange at the Hill Country Pizzeria next to H-E-B.  There will be time for breakfast and professional networking, an informational update from Luanne Caraway- Hays County Tax Assessor-Collector, and then a "Virtual Tour" showcasing active commercial property listings for sale and lease in NW Hays County and SW Travis County.  This initiative was developed for the purpose of providing local commercial real estate professionals a venue to collectively share commercial real estate information and to enhance business opportunities with real-time access to critical real estate information, listings, and local economic news.  For your properties to be included in the virtual tour please forward your listings, flyers and/or photos by July 11 at 2pm to Charlton Laird at claird@broadwaybank.comWe look forward to your attendance and active participation!
