Inaugural Arlington Mayor's Community Prayer Breakfast is Tuesday, February 16
The inaugural Arlington Mayor's Prayer Breakfast will be held Tuesday, February 16 at the Arlington Convention Center. The event hosted by the Chamber brings together members of the community for an inspirational and uplifting breakfast with special messages from local church leaders. Please join us as we pause, be thankful for what we have and recognize the strength of working together. Click here to register for our Prayer Breakfast. Doors open at 6:30 a.m. Program promptly commences at 7:30 a.m.
Chamber After Hours at Dave & Buster's TOMORROW, Tuesday, January 26
Chamber After Hours is a come-and-go event providing the opportunity for networking, building relationships and exchanging business cards with prospective clients and customers. It is also a terrific way to "bring a friend" and introduce a new member to the Chamber.

Chamber Members Encouraged to Participate in Student Internship Program
- Applications Due in SEVEN DAYS
The Arlington Chamber of Commerce is working with the Arlington ISD to secure at least 100 new internship opportunities for the 2016-2017 school year. The internships will benefit AISD high school juniors and seniors who wish to have a learning experience in entry level and middle skill jobs. Chamber members are encouraged to participate.

State of the County Address is March 17
Come hear Judge B. Glen Whitley speak about the highlights of the past year and the forecast for 2016, while having an opportunity to showcase to city/county businesses, civic and city leaders.

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce recognizes small businesses in the community (a for-profit, a non-profit and a Veteran-owned) for their business achievements, innovation, response to adversity and contributions to aid community-oriented projects.

Invitation to Become Career, Technology, and Higher Education Investigations Guest Speaker/Advisor
Career, Technical, and Higher Education Investigations is a technology embedded course that will provide students with opportunities to develop technology skills they will use throughout high school and into college and career while actively investigating their career options for the upcoming years in high school and beyond. The Chamber is working with AISD to invite business leaders the opportunity to talk directly with 8th grade students about emerging career opportunities within your industry. We are asking member organizations who are willing, to speak at one or more district-wide 8th grade class assembly and/or present a demonstration at an on-campus "Career Day" to inspire and encourage students to imagine a multitude of career options. Arlington ISD Students
As part of the Champion Education Initiative, the Arlington Chamber Foundation is offering seven $2,500 scholarships to 2015-2016 graduating Arlington ISD students who plan to attend either the University of Texas at Arlington or Tarrant County College.
