Mentoring Opportunity at TCC Southeast for Women's Alliance and ACYP Members
|
Members of the Arlington Chamber Women's Alliance and Young Professionals are invited to participate in a two-hour Career Mentor Meet-up on the Tarrant County College Southeast Campus. As business professionals you can bring significant value to students learning how to network to improve career connections. The Career Mentor Meet up includes meet/greet practice sessions, sharing a one minute elevator speech and other networking techniques.

Important Meeting to Those Interested in Doing Business with the City and the AISD
|  The purchasing staffs from both the City of Arlington and the Arlington ISD will host their "Monthly Supplier Meeting" this Friday, November 13 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Parks & Recreation Administration Building.
This informal meeting will provide suppliers with a general overview of the purchasing process and information about current and upcoming bidding opportunities. Click here to access the meeting flyer.

Invitation to Become Career, Technology, and Higher Education Investigations Guest Speaker/Advisor
|
Career, Technical, and Higher Education Investigations is a technology embedded course that will provide students with opportunities to develop technology skills they will use throughout high school and into college and career while actively investigating their career options for the upcoming years in high school and beyond. The Chamber is working with AISD to invite business leaders the opportunity to talk directly with 8th grade students about emerging career opportunities within your industry. We are asking member organizations who are willing, to speak at one or more district-wide 8th grade class assembly and/or present a demonstration at an on-campus "Career Day" to inspire and encourage students to imagine a multitude of career options.
