The Arlington Chamber celebrates the end of the fiscal year and the beginning of the new year at the Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner. The Thursday, September 24 event at the Convention Center will feature entertainment, announcement of the 2015 STAR Award recipient and Business Hall of Fame inductions. Women's Alliance
The Women's Alliance of the Arlington Chamber is seeking nominations for their Hero and Rising Star Awards. The Hero Award acknowledges that women offer a unique approach to leadership, which involves connecting and collaborating to effect change and influence, often without position or authority.  The Hero Award will recognize a woman with demonstrated leadership capabilities who has the desire and commitment to make a greater contribution within our community by her pursuit, courage, enthusiasm, and zeal. The Rising Star portraits the same characteristics earlier in her career.

Town Hall Meeting

Leadership Arlington 2015-2016
Applications Due in August
Leadership Arlington (LA) develops the next generation of our community leaders. The program seeks to identify potential community leaders, educate them regarding civic engagement and leadership opportunities, and provides the graduate and their sponsoring company, access to a wide network of like-minded professional leaders.

New Member Orientation August 21
Not sure if a Chamber membership is worth the investment? Want to learn how to get the most out of your new Chamber membership? Then attend a Chamber Orientation Luncheon and begin to maximize your membership investment. This session provides guidance in understanding the products, services and networking opportunities available through your Chamber.

 

Chamber Orientation is Friday, August 21 at 11:30 a.m. at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. This exclusive "new and prospective member" lunch is complimentary, but we ask you to register here so that we may plan for catering.

Women's Alliance Scholarship Applications Now Being Accepted
The Women's Alliance of the Arlington Chamber will award six scholarships to female students attending UT Arlington or Tarrant County College. The sponsors of the scholarships are the Chamber Foundation, one from the Sanford House and one from Medical Center Arlington for a UT Arlington School of Nursing student. Completed applications must be submitted by September 14.

Chamber After Hours is August 25
at Texas Trust
Chamber After Hours is a come-and-go event providing the opportunity for networking, building relationships and exchanging business cards with prospective clients and customers. It is also a terrific way to "bring a friend" and introduce a new member to the Chamber.

 

Chamber After Hours will be Tuesday, August 25 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Texas Trust Credit Union (4351 Little Road). Please register here for networking, fun and door prizes.
