The Arlington Chamber Young Professionals (ACYP) will hold a development seminar at the Chamber TOMORROW, Tuesday, July 14. The 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. luncheon is entitled "Business Etiquette." The guest speaker, Colleen Rickenbacher, is an author, speaker, trainer and consultant handling all areas of etiquette, protocol, civility and communication skills. Her book, The Big Book of People Skills Games, has just gone international. Colleen was recently recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in the Meeting Industry by Meeting News Magazine, inducted into the Hall of Fame and awarded the Lifetime Achievement designation by Texas Meetings & Events magazine.

Arlington ISD State of the District Luncheon is August 10

Superintendent Dr. Marcelo Cavazos and the Board of Trustees will present an update on the District and the progress of the Achieve Today. Excel Tomorrow. strategic plan. The Monday, August 10 State of the District Luncheon Address is a "must hear" event for faculty, administrators, parents, Arlington business leaders, civic leaders and the media. The PEDC and the Chamber to Host Pantego's Mayor Melody Paradise at a "Morning with the Mayor"

On Wednesday, July 22 at 7:30 a.m., Mayor Melody Paradise and key city staffers will provide a Town of Pantego update. The "Morning with the Mayor" will be held at the Pantego Lions Club in partnership with the Pantego Economic Development Corporation. Mayor Paradise will deliver an economic update and highlight exciting community endeavors.

The Arlington Chamber celebrates the end of the fiscal year and the beginning of the new year at the Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner. The Thursday, September 24 event at the Convention Center will feature entertainment, announcement of the 2015 STAR Award recipient and Business Hall of Fame inductions. Hero and Rising Star Nominations
Being Accepted by Women's Alliance

The Women's Alliance of the Arlington Chamber is seeking nominations for their Hero and Rising Star Awards. The Hero Award acknowledges that women offer a unique approach to leadership, which involves connecting and collaborating to effect change and influence, often without position or authority. The Hero Award will recognize a woman with demonstrated leadership capabilities who has the desire and commitment to make a greater contribution within our community by her pursuit, courage, enthusiasm, and zeal. The Rising Star portraits the same characteristics earlier in her career.

|  The Women's Alliance of the Arlington Chamber annually awards scholarships to female students attending UT Arlington or Tarrant County College. Four Dr. Judith J.
