Arlington ISD State of the District Luncheon is August 10

Superintendent Dr. Marcelo Cavazos and the Board of Trustees will present an update on the District and the progress of the Achieve Today. Excel Tomorrow. strategic plan. The Monday, August 10 State of the District Luncheon Address is a "must hear" event for faculty, administrators, parents, Arlington business leaders, civic leaders and the media. Dr. Cavazos plans to discuss  innovative programs, partnerships and an outlook for the 2015/2016 school year. Please click here to register.

The Arlington Chamber Foundation, (parent nonprofit of the Texas Christkindl Market, LLC) has entered into a formal agreement with the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau to provide additional staff, management, and administrative support for the Texas Christkindl Market. The Markets success to date has been a result of the partnership of the Chamber Foundation, CVB, City of Arlington, Texas Rangers and Six Flags.

 

Integrating the operational responsibilities for the Market with the Convention and Visitors Bureau expands the Chamber Foundation's capability for continued growth in 2015 and beyond.

The Arlington 4th of July Association organizes an outstanding and widely respected parade each Independence Day in and around downtown Arlington. Leadership Arlington (LA) develops the next generation of our community leaders. The program seeks to identify potential community leaders, educate them regarding civic engagement and leadership opportunities, and provides the graduate and their sponsoring company, access to a wide network of like-minded professional leaders.

Women's Alliance Scholarship Applications Now Being Accepted
Women's Alliance

The Women's Alliance of the Arlington Chamber annually awards scholarships to female students attending UT Arlington or Tarrant County College. Four Dr. Judith J. Carrier scholarships will be awarded in 2015. Completed applications must be submitted by September 14.
