North Texas Association of Manufacturers to Hold Inaugural Meeting April 9

The U.S. Department of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers and the U.S. Small Business Administration are collaborating with the Arlington Chamber of Commerce to launch the North Texas Association of Manufacturers (NTAM) to serve the expanding needs of manufacturing throughout North Texas.
Manufacturers in our region are invited to attend the extremely important inaugural meeting of NTAM, which is being launched to identify issues impacting manufacturing that can be a affected or enhanced by concerted community action, and to implement a bold plan to enhance our manufacturing climate.

Invitation to Become Career, Technology, and Higher Education Investigations Guest Speaker/Advisor

Career, Technology, and Higher Education Investigation (CTHEI) is a technology embedded course that will provide students with opportunities to develop technology skills they will use throughout high school and into college and career while actively investigating their career options for the upcoming years in high school and beyond.

2015 Salute to Small Business Luncheon is May 14
|
The 2015 "Salute to Small Business" luncheon is May 14 at the Sheraton Arlington Hotel. This annual event, co-hosted by the Arlington Chamber, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Small Business Development Center, will recognize the Outstanding Small Business Champions of the Year from a 72-county area. The Arlington Chamber will also award its Small Businesses of the Year.
Returning to emcee the event is a DFW TV celebrity, Scott Murray. This year's event includes the annual luncheon, seminars before lunch and an "Expo" of services focused on small business. Please click here to sponsor, register or display.
