| The Women's Alliance of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2015 Kick-Off TOMORROW, Tuesday, January 20 at 5:30 p.m. at South Street Patio. This informative event includes an overview of the organization, key activities planned for the year, followed by updates from Wes Jurey, President & CEO of the Chamber, Andrea Roy, Economic Development Specialist for the City of Arlington, Ronnie Price, President & CEO of the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau and Tony Rutigliano, President & CEO of Downtown Arlington Management Corporation.

Union Pacific Track Renewal Project Returns to Arlington
|
Union Pacific will undertake a major railway improvement project between Dallas and Fort Worth this month. As a result, Arlington drivers will encounter some periodic road detours and closures between January 16 and 24.

$15,000 in Scholarship Money Available to Arlington ISD Students
| As part of the Champion Education Initiative, the Arlington Chamber Foundation is offering six $2,500 scholarships to 2014-2015 graduating Arlington ISD students who plan to attend either the University of Texas at Arlington or Tarrant County College. Invitation to Become Career, Technology, and Higher Education Investigations Guest Speaker/Advisor | 
Career, Technology, and Higher Education Investigation (CTHEI) is a technology embedded course that will provide students with opportunities to develop technology skills they will use throughout high school and into college and career while actively investigating their career options for the upcoming years in high school and beyond.
