This session provides guidance in understanding the products, services and networking opportunities available through your Chamber.

 

Chamber Orientation is THIS Friday, January 16 at 11:30 a.m. at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. This "new or prospective member" lunch is complimentary, but we ask you to register here so that we may plan for catering.

Women's Alliance 2015 Kick-Off is January 20

The Women's Alliance of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2015 Kick-Off on Tuesday, January 20 at 5:30 p.m. at South Street Patio. This informative event includes an overview of the organization, key activities planned for the year, followed by updates from Andrea Roy, Economic Development Specialist for the City of Arlington, Ronnie Price, President & CEO of the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau and Tony Rutigliano, President & CEO of Downtown Arlington Management Corporation.

Union Pacific Track Renewal Project Returns to Arlington
Union Pacific will undertake a major railway improvement project between Dallas and Fort Worth this month. As a result, Arlington drivers will encounter some periodic road detours and closures between January 16 and 24.

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce recognizes small businesses in the community (a for-profit, a non-profit and a Veteran-owned) for their business achievements, innovation, response to adversity and contributions to aid community-oriented projects.
 
To nominate a business, please download the form here. Nomination forms must be submitted by February 27, 2015.
$15,000 in Scholarship Money Available to Arlington ISD Students
As part of the Champion Education Initiative, the Arlington Chamber Foundation is offering six $2,500 scholarships to 2014-2015 graduating Arlington ISD students who plan to attend either the University of Texas at Arlington or Tarrant County College. One $2,500 scholarship per high school is available. To download the application, please click here.
State of the County Luncheon Address is March 5

Invitation to Become Career, Technology, and Higher Education Investigations Guest Speaker/Advisor

Career, Technology, and Higher Education Investigation (CTHEI) is a technology embedded course that will provide students with opportunities to develop technology skills they will use throughout high school and into college and career while actively investigating their career options for the upcoming years in high school and beyond.
