Second Weekend of Record Crowds

The 2014 Texas Christkindl Market had its second record weekend. On Saturday, our guests were treated to a "flash mob" holiday routine from the students of Arlington High School. Department of Commerce Europe Regionalization Roadshow at Chamber

THIS THURSDAY

THIS THURSDAY, December 11, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Arlington Chamber, the U.S. Commercial Service will host a European Road Show featuring commercial representatives based in various countries and covering a wide range of industries in the European Union. They will give brief overviews of opportunities and industries in the region. Registration is limited to the first 50 individuals. Please click here to download registration information. 

ACYP to Hold Scavenger Hunt at the
Texas Christkindl Market on December 18
The Arlington Chamber Young Professionals will conduct an outrageously fun scavenger hunt at the 2014 Texas Christkindl Market. The "Hunt" is scheduled for Thursday, December 18 beginning at 5:30 p.m. All ACYP members and prospects will team up to compete for Market prizes while partaking in the food & beverages available at the Market. Then attend a Chamber Orientation Luncheon and begin to maximize your membership investment. This session provides guidance in understanding the products, services and networking opportunities available through your Chamber.

 

Chamber Orientation is NEXT FRIDAY, December 19 at 11:30 a.m. at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. This "new or prospective member" lunch is complimentary, but we ask you to register here so that we may plan for catering.

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce recognizes small businesses in the community (a for-profit, a non-profit and a Veteran-owned) for their business achievements, innovation, response to adversity and contributions to aid community-oriented projects.

$15,000 in Scholarship Money Available to
Arlington ISD Students
As part of the Champion Education Initiative, the Arlington Chamber Foundation is offering six $2,500 scholarships to 2014-2015 graduating Arlington ISD students who plan to attend either the University of Texas at Arlington or Tarrant County College. One $2,500 scholarship per high school is available. To download the application, please click here.
