Record Opening Weekend Crowds Enjoy the Texas Christkindl Market

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whether strolling through the Market or visiting Santa, the record number of visitors enjoyed the opening weekend of the 2014 Texas Christkindl Market. Our guests were treated to a Texas German holiday market featuring authentic German cuisine, beverages, entertainment, "North Pole Texas" marionette theatre, arts, crafts and holiday gifts. To learn more about the Market, please click here. The Market is open daily through Sunday, December 21 - parking and admission are free.

Business Over Breakfast is a fast-paced networking event. Build relationships, present information on your business or service and exchange business cards with prospective clients and customers. Women's Alliance Tiara Tuesday Scheduled for the Texas Christkindl Market on December 9
"Tiara Tuesday" provides a terrific opportunity for women and their friends to network and learn about the Arlington business community and the Women's Alliance. Wear a tiara - you just might win a prize!

ACYP to Hold Scavenger Hunt at the
Texas Christkindl Market on December 18
The Arlington Chamber Young Professionals will conduct an outrageously fun scavenger hunt at the 2014 Texas Christkindl Market. The "Hunt" is scheduled for Thursday, December 18 beginning at 5:30 p.m. All ACYP members and prospects will team up to compete for Market prizes while partaking in the food & beverages available at the Market. Department of Commerce Europe Regionalization Roadshow at Chamber on December 11

On December 11, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Arlington Chamber, the U.S. Commercial Service will host a European Road Show featuring commercial representatives based in various countries and covering a wide range of industries in the European Union. They will give brief overviews of opportunities and industries in the region. Registration is limited to the first 50 individuals. Please click here to download registration information. 

$15,000 in Scholarship Money Available to
Arlington ISD Students
As part of the Champion Education Initiative, the Arlington Chamber Foundation is offering six $2,500 scholarships to 2014-2015 graduating Arlington ISD students who plan to attend either the University of Texas at Arlington or Tarrant County College.
