ACYP to Host "Tips for Moving up the Ladder" Luncheon THIS WEDNESDAY, November 19
The "Tips for Moving Up the Ladder" luncheon is a great opportunity to network with fellow Arlington Chamber Young Professional members and to capture important tips. Our three guest panelists will be Clay Kelley (RUSH Human Resources), Calvin Dennis (Insperity) and Eric Gentry (Accretive Solutions). The luncheon is Wednesday, November 19 at Olenjack's Grille. Public Meeting to Discuss Potential High-Speed and Express Rail Between Dallas and Fort Worth - Arlington Meeting THIS WEDNESDAY 
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) are studying a proposed high-speed and express passenger rail service between Fort Worth and Dallas. The project will consider potential track alignments, station locations, and more. All are invited to attend one of three public scoping meetings (Dallas, Arlington and Fort Worth) to learn more about the project and share any topics of interest that should be considered in the project's Environmental Impact Statement. This meeting is critical as one of the routes includes Arlington. REGISTER HERE!

The 2014 Texas Christkindl Market opens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28 and runs through Sunday, December 21. The partnership event between the Arlington Chamber Foundation, the City of Arlington, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, Six Flags Over Texas and the Texas Rangers, will once again offer FREE admission and FREE parking. The Texas German holiday market features authentic German cuisine, beverages, entertainment, children's lantern parades, marionette theatre, arts, crafts and holiday gifts. Department of Commerce Europe Regionalization Roadshow at Chamber on December 11

On December 11, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Arlington Chamber, the U.S. Commercial Service will host a European Road Show featuring commercial representatives based in various countries and covering a wide range of industries in the European Union. They will give brief overviews of opportunities and industries in the region. Registration is limited to the first 50 individuals. Please click here to download registration information.

Arlington ISD Students
As part of the Champion Education Initiative, the Arlington Chamber Foundation is offering six $2,500 scholarships to 2014-2015 graduating Arlington ISD students who plan to attend either the University of Texas at Arlington or Tarrant County College.
