Arlington Chamber Honored with Three-Star Valor Award    
The Arlington Chamber of Commerce was honored with the Three-Star Chamber of Valor Award by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The recognition is the highest distinction awarded a chamber for helping veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment. Texas Veterans Job Fair THIS THURSDAY
Texas Workforce Commission and Workforce Solutions will host its 3rd Annual "Hiring Red, White and You!" job fair. The Thursday, November 13 event will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Globe Life Ballpark in Arlington. The job fair is designed to connect Texas Veterans and spouses with area employers looking for qualified candidates. To learn more, please click here
ACYP to Host "Tips for Moving up the Ladder" Luncheon November 19
The "Tips for Moving Up the Ladder" luncheon is a great opportunity to network with fellow Arlington Chamber Young Professional members and to capture important tips. Texas Arlington Christkindl Market to Run from November 28 through December 21

The 2014 Texas Christkindl Market runs from November 28 - December 21. The partnership event between the Arlington Chamber Foundation, the City of Arlington, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, Six Flags Over Texas and the Texas Rangers, will once again offer FREE admission and FREE parking. The Texas German holiday market features authentic German cuisine, beverages, entertainment, children's lantern parades, Bavarian petting zoo, marionette theatre, arts, crafts and holiday gifts. Department of Commerce Europe Regionalization Roadshow at Chamber on December 11

On December 11, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Arlington Chamber, the U.S. Commercial Service will host a European Road Show featuring commercial representatives based in various countries and covering a wide range of industries in the European Union. They will give brief overviews of opportunities and industries in the region. Registration is limited to the first 50 individuals. Please click here to download registration information. 

$15,000 in Scholarship Money Available to
Arlington ISD Students
As part of the Champion Education Initiative, the Arlington Chamber Foundation is offering six $2,500 scholarships to 2014-2015 graduating Arlington ISD students who plan to attend either the University of Texas at Arlington or Tarrant County College.
