The Governor's Small Business Forum (GSBF) will be held in Arlington at the Convention Center THIS WEDNESDAY October 29, 2014. GSBF, sponsored by the Texas Governor's Office, the Texas Workforce Commission, the Arlington Chamber and local partners, is designed to give entrepreneurs and small businesses valuable tools, skills, and knowledge needed to thrive in today's fast-paced economy. Texas Veterans Job Fair November 13

Texas Workforce Commission and Workforce Solutions will host its 3rd Annual "Hiring Red, White and You!" job fair. The November 13 event will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Globe Life Ballpark in Arlington. The job fair is designed to connect Texas Veterans and spouses with area employers looking for qualified candidates. To learn more, please click here.

Texas Arlington Christkindl Market to Run from November 28 through December 21 |
The 2014 Texas Christkindl Market runs from November 28 - December 21. The partnership event between the Arlington Chamber Foundation, the City of Arlington, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, Six Flags Over Texas and the Texas Rangers, will once again offer FREE admission and FREE parking. The Texas German holiday market features authentic German cuisine, beverages, entertainment, children's lantern parades, Bavarian petting zoo, marionette theatre, arts, crafts and holiday gifts. $15,000 in Scholarship Money Available to
Arlington ISD Students
| As part of the Champion Education Initiative, the Arlington Chamber Foundation is offering six $2,500 scholarships to 2014-2015 graduating Arlington ISD students who plan to attend either the University of Texas at Arlington or Tarrant County College.
