Arlington ISD Special Procurement Meeting NEXT MONDAY

A "Doing Business with the School District" meeting will be held next Monday, September 22 from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. at the Mac Bernd Professional Development Center. Superintendent Dr. Marcelo Cavazos and the AISD procurement team will address the process to doing business with the Arlington ISD in general, then give an update on the bond procurement schedule. All businesses are invited to attend this complimentary event.

Chamber After Hours at Alley Cats
Chamber After Hours is a come-and-go event providing the opportunity for networking, building relationships and exchanging business cards with prospective clients and customers. It is also a terrific way to "bring a friend" and introduce a new member to the Chamber.

Women's Alliance Scholarship Applications Must be Submitted in EIGHT DAYS

The Women's Alliance of the Arlington Chamber annually awards scholarships to female students attending UT Arlington or Tarrant County College. Four Dr. Judith J. Carrier scholarships will be awarded in 2014. Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, September 23.

Governor's Small Business Forum in Arlington on October 29

Chamber Board of Directors Vote to Support City's Bond Proposal
The Arlington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors last Wednesday unanimously approved a resolution supporting the City of Arlington's $236 million bond proposal, on the ballot November 4, 2014.
