On Thursday, the Arlington Chamber of Com merce announced the recipients of the 2013 Small Businesses of the Year. Bob Moore Construction, Inc. and Girls Inc. of Tarrant County were selected for their achievements, innovation, response to adversity and contributions to aid community-oriented projects. The awards will be presented at the May 23 "Spirit of America: 2013 Salute to Small Business" hosted by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and The North Texas Small Business Development Center. We proudly announce NBC 5 Today Anchor, Deborah Ferguson as emcee of the luncheon co-hosted by the Arlington Chamber, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Small Business Development Center. The Arlington Chamber will also award its Small Businesses of the Year at the event.
The luncheon is Thursday, May 23 at the Sheraton Arlington Hotel.

Youth Applications Due May 17 |
Leadership Arlington is looking for applicants for the next class of Youth Leadership Arlington. This is an excellent program that gives Juniors in High School the opportunity to learn about a variety of areas in the city, including Government, Economic Development, and Arts and Culture, while building leadership skills.
