CALL PROJECTS/
CLIMATE ACTION KIOSK
WEST HARLEM

Dear Friends:
We are very excited to share the news that we have been (provisionally*) awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts Design Arts Program to support the design development of the West Harlem Climate Action Kiosk, spearheaded by Elliott Maltby in partnership with WE ACT.

Over the past year Elliott and CALL have been meeting with WE ACT to discuss strategies that would help advance the Northern Manha
ttan Climate Action Plan and engage local citizens in the design and programming of the Kiosk.

WE ACT has recruited a number of their members to form a Working Group. The first meeting of the Working Group will be on Saturday 11:15, May 14 at the WE ACT offices, 1854 Amsterdam Avenue (@ 152nd Street) 2nd floor.

We welcome you to join the Working Group. At this first meeting we will review relevant precedents for the Kiosk and discuss different ways that Group members can be involved in the design development
and planning in the context of the project timeline. MORE INFO

Please let me know if you would like to attend and if you have any questions.

Warm regards,

Olivia Georgia,
Executive Director

(*We are waiting for final approval of the grant following the submission of a revised project budget.)
