MPCA EHR/EDR User Groups
Midwest HCCN Collaborative partner, the Michigan Quality Improvement Network (MQIN), has extended an invitation to Connections health centers to join the EHR user groups organized by the Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA).

The MPCA user groups listed below meet monthly via webinar to troubleshoot IT issues, maximize system effectiveness, receive system-specific training from vendor partners, and leverage "economies of scale" in sharing templates, reports, and other system-specific items with one another.

NACHC EHR User Groups
NACHC supports the EHR user groups listed below. These user groups meet monthly and provide a vehicle for health centers to meet and discuss common issues, learn about new features and functionality, share experiences and gain valuable insight on lessons learned and best practices.

In the Spotlight
Use SLACK to collaborate with other HCCN members. Follow these quick steps to start.
 
1. JOIN the Connections HCCN Slack Team HERE. On the signup screen, type the first part of your work email address, then click the down arrow next to @kspca.org and select your domain.
 
2. SET YOUR PREFERENCES. Enter your first and last name for your username so the rest of the team can recognize you in Slack.
 
3. DOWNLOAD the desktop app from HERE. Then, install the app on your computer.
 
4. SIGN IN. Once you have the app installed, open it up and sign in. Use connectionshccn as the team domain, then enter your email address.
 
5. JOIN CHANNELS by clicking on the word CHANNELS along the left-hand column to bring up a list of those you can join. Click on one you want to join, then click the green Join Channel button at the bottom of the page.
